This week LinkTech Quick Couplings Inc. reached a milestone by launching a new innovative feature on its website called “3D PDF & 3D Cad Downloads”.Customers can now view the actual part’s geometry by simply choosing the coupling they are interested in, clicking on a 3D icon and opening the file. According to Rachel Kakavand – Customer Service Manager, “LinkTech’s customers will appreciate the ability to have instant access to detailed 3D files without the delay and inconvenience of registering and waiting for someone to send them a file”. 3D Cad files are available in IGS format and can be easily opened with any Cad software. LinkTech’s new 3D PDF files can viewed and opened by any version of Adobe Acrobat. “After two years of investing significant time and resource LinkTech is proud to launch these innovative tools to reduce its customers design time”, stated Dodge Juhan – Engineering Manager.

Due to rapid growth of new customer orders LinkTech expanded its
Production facility in Ventura, CA by doubling its size last month. “Our need to add additional assembly work cells to meet new customer orders required LinkTech to expand its Ventura production facility size”, states Randy Rehder-President. The added space of the expansion also allowed LinkTech to develop a new state of the art metrology and test lab to support its quality system. Furthermore, for the last several years LinkTech
has experienced an annual +100% growth rate and has tripled its number of employees requiring additional work space leading up to the expansion. “LinkTech is fortunate that it chose to purchase its initial building as part of a larger industrial complex, allowing for easy expansion by simply removing internal walls and taking over more space”, said Mike Williams – Production Manager.
